Indonesia in this blog is above all volcanoes. The earliest story is a four-day trek up Rinjani on the island of Lombok back in 2009. In late February 2016 we flew from Singapore to Jakarta, crossed Java from Yogyakarta to Banyuwangi, with a sunrise on Merapi and the blue fire of Ijen, and lived on Bali for two weeks.
