Laos

We entered Laos on August 4, 2015, on our own scooter from Chiang Rai, and in two weeks crossed the country from north to south: winding mountain roads to Luang Prabang, Vang Vieng, the capital Vientiane, Thakhek, Savannakhet, and Pakse.

These are stories of the road: a flat tire and a night in a tent by a local family's house, waterfalls and a cave in Vang Vieng, an attempt to enter Cambodia with a scooter on Thai plates. Start with our first night in Laos, and then Vang Vieng and Vientiane.
